Benefits of Pepperwood
Pepperwood is one of the greatest areas to live in Utah. For a new Utah home, pepperwood is the place to be. Nestled right against the base of the Wasatch Mountains Pepperwood is your gateway to Utah’s many adventures. Pepperwood is located in a town called Sandy. This town is just a jump, skip and hop away from Utah’s major ski resorts Brighton, Alta, Snowbird and Solitude. Since these resorts are so close to the Great Salt Lake they get amazing snow. Utah snow is known to be the best for skiing and snowboarding because it is light and dry which makes for a nice powdery ride. Utah also has a very high amount of snowfall each year, boasting some of the highest snow levels in the nation. It is because Utah snow is so wonderful to ride on that we’ve adopted the slogan “Greatest Snow on Earth”. There are so many thing to do and places to go in Utah and all of them are close enough to pepperwood for convenience but far enough away for solitude.
Downtown
Pepperwood is tucked away and is a sort of suburban paradise, but it’s close enough to jump on the freeway and be in downtown Salt Lake City in no time at all. Once downtown there are tons of things you can do. The newest hot spot is the renovated Gateway, an outdoor shopping mall with a host of popular stores and eateries. There are over 100 chain stores like GAP, Hollister, Aeropastale, Abercrombie & Fitch, Buckle, Banana Republic and more. There is also a large Barnes and Nobles with a set of spraying fountains.

Another popular downtown destination is the Gallivan Center, where there are lots of free activities and concerts. There is the Twilight series which is a free concert every Thursday. There is also the Monster block party, a Halloween celebration for the whole family. During the winter there is ice skating. Typically if you are downtown there is something happening at the Gallivan Center.
Salt Lake City is sometimes referred to as a spot of blue in a red state. And indeed the downtown culture is very different than the rest of state. The arts, cuisine and music flourish. Every Saturday there is a farmers market that is wildly successful thanks to its selection of locally made bread, jam, meat, cheese and more. There is also an Arts and Crafts market which has many things including: jewelry, pottery, leather goods, dried flowers, bath products, furniture and a whole range of fun homemade and one of kind gifts. Indeed buying a new home in Utah can have its advantages.
